About The Author:

Jay Stuart has worked in Gift & Loyalty Card sales for many years.  His first few years were a time when merchants purchased these cards, put them on a rack at their check out and thought no more about it until a customer expressed a desire to purchase one.  As the "novelty" aspect wore off and more and more vendors entered the field, it became far more competitive.  Jay found that, in the vast majority of cases, the sale went to the representative who not only offered cards, terminals and peripherals for sale,but the rep who could help his merchants conceive and implement their marketing plans.  Many times, a simple suggestion as to how to benefit from a specific aspect of the card's abundant repertoire would clinch the sale.
